PARAMETA Signs Strategic MOU with Indonesia's HARA, Accelerating APAC Expansion

  • Joint Korea–Indonesia initiatives across DID, on-chain KYC, stablecoin-based cross-border payments, and asset tokenization

[Seoul, June 11, 2026] Web3 Enabler PARAMETA (formerly ICONLOOP, CEO JH Kim) announced that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with HARA (PT. Agri Tekno Karya, CEO Fernando Buenayre Sirait), an Indonesian digital data infrastructure company.

The agreement is expected to mark PARAMETA's first major step in extending the Web3 infrastructure capabilities it has built in Korea into Indonesia and the wider Asia-Pacific (APAC) market.

HARA is a blockchain specialist operating proven real-world data infrastructure and DID-based digital identity solutions in the Indonesian market. It connects real-world data from Indonesia's core industries — agriculture, forestry, and halal among them — to digital infrastructure, covering farmer identity, land records, production history, and supply chain traceability. Drawing on its understanding of the local regulatory environment and its government and institutional networks, HARA has recently expanded its use cases into digital finance, trade, and asset tokenization, and is extending further into remittances.

Under the partnership, PARAMETA and HARA will jointly pursue:

△ joint research and development of authentication systems based on DID and on-chain KYC △ cooperation on stablecoin-based cross-border payment and settlement infrastructure △ identification of regulation-friendly asset tokenization and industry-specific Web3 use cases across finance, trade, and remittances.

PARAMETA will contribute core Web3 infrastructure technologies — stablecoin infrastructure, wallets, on-chain compliance, DID, and on-chain KYC — along with institutional partnerships and ecosystem expansion within Korea.

HARA will lead regulatory and market insight for Indonesia and the APAC region as well as local business development, and will handle localization of the joint solutions required for market entry, including participation in regulatory sandboxes.

As a first step, the two companies will jointly identify high-priority use cases and assess their business, technical, and regulatory feasibility together. In the process, they plan to share their respective technical information and case studies to secure technical interoperability, and to jointly design a common solution model that can be deployed in both markets simultaneously.

"This agreement is the starting point for PARAMETA to expand the Web3 infrastructure we have validated in Korea into global markets in earnest," said PARAMETA CEO JH Kim. "Beginning with HARA, we will broaden our collaboration on DID, stablecoins, and asset tokenization across Indonesia and APAC."

"This partnership combines HARA's proven real-world data, traceability, and decentralized identity infrastructure with PARAMETA's Web3 capabilities, enabling practical use cases such as on-chain KYC, cross-border payments, stablecoin settlement, and compliance-based asset tokenization," said HARA CEO Fernando Buenayre Sirait. "We expect it to reduce friction in cross-border transactions, strengthen trust in digital financial services, and broaden financial access between Indonesia and Korea."

PARAMETA has steadily widened its footprint on the global stage. It has demonstrated its Web3 infrastructure capabilities through collaboration with international organizations and global partners, including a presentation of a standard model for cross-border transactions based on on-chain KYC at a bond forum hosted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The HARA agreement is expected to be the first case of translating those global capabilities into substantive business expansion across Indonesia and the APAC region.
