[Press Release] PARAMETA Presents On-Chain KYC Standard Model for Cross-Border Transactions at ADB-Hosted Bond Forum

  • Presented a blockchain solution as Korea's representative at the ASEAN+3 Bond Market Forum (ABMF) hosted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB)
  • Proprietary on-chain KYC technology enables secure cross-border investment without moving assets
  • Wallet authentication technology built on the stablecoin platform ParaSta draws attention

[Seoul, February 11, 2026] Web3 Enabler PARAMETA (CEO JH Kim) announced on the 5th that it was officially invited to the 45th ASEAN+3 Bond Market Forum (ABMF) and related events, held from February 2 to 4 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, where it presented a new standard model for cross-border transactions using blockchain technology.

The event is the region's largest bond market consultative body, co-hosted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK). It drew senior financial officials from Korea, China, Japan, and ASEAN member states, including finance ministries, central banks, and central securities depositories (CSDs).

PARAMETA took the podium as Korea's representative technology company in the forum's core Digital Bond Market Forum (DBMF) session. Korean figures chaired the proceedings and led discussion on digital innovation in Asian finance, including Joonghoon Park, Managing Director of the Korea Securities Depository (Vice Chair and Acting Chair of CSIF), and Professor Seok Hyun of Yonsei University (DBMF Chair).

On the 4th, the final day of the event, PARAMETA Chief Strategy Officer Junghoon Lee presented on "A Wallet-Based Eligibility Layer for Cross-Border Digital Bond Participation."

At the center of the presentation was PARAMETA's on-chain KYC (Know Your Customer) technology, offering a way to dismantle investment barriers between countries with differing regulations. Investing in overseas bonds has traditionally required submitting complex identity verification documents and has carried the risk of transferring assets abroad. To address this, PARAMETA proposed a Know Your Wallet (KYW) model built on its stablecoin platform, ParaSta.

The model places an investor's eligibility credentials in a blockchain wallet, proving whether that wallet qualifies without moving any assets. This makes cross-border investment as straightforward as using a domestic financial service, while remaining compliant with global regulation.

PARAMETA has built core blockchain technology and stablecoin infrastructure in the Korean market, establishing technical standards that satisfy financial regulatory requirements. The presentation drew attention for proposing PARAMETA's technology model — designed to meet regulatory requirements in line with Korea's move toward formal frameworks for security tokens and digital assets — as a common solution for cross-border transactions among countries across Asia. Also introduced, to a strong reception, was a pilot model applying the technology to complex structured bonds, developed in cooperation with partner RiskX, an AI company specializing in the design, recommendation, and hedging of structured products.

"Our goal is a world where a single wallet lets you invest safely in financial products anywhere," said PARAMETA CSO Junghoon Lee. "Building on this presentation at the ADB-hosted forum, we will work to make PARAMETA's on-chain KYC technology the global standard for Asia's digital financial markets."
