PARAMETA Signs Strategic MOU with PEBBLOUS to Build and Grow a Blockchain-Based AI Model Distribution Ecosystem

August 31, 2023, Seoul — Web3 Enabler PARAMETA (formerly ICONLOOP, CEO JH Kim) announced that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with PEBBLOUS (CEO Joohaeng Lee), a company specializing in AI data quality assessment and synthetic data generation, to build and grow a blockchain-based AI model distribution ecosystem.
The agreement combines blockchain and AI technology to address the ownership and copyright issues at the center of debate around existing generative AI models, and to build a trustworthy AI model distribution ecosystem on that basis.
In this partnership, PARAMETA is responsible for developing blockchain AI model distribution technology and building the platform, while PEBBLOUS handles the development and application of security technology to protect the copyright of AI training data and models. Together, the two companies aim to build an ecosystem in which AI model creators can directly manage, control, and distribute the models they create.
"PARAMETA saw that blockchain could resolve the issues in the existing AI market and has been paying attention to the field since before the industry began forecasting synergy between blockchain and AI," said PARAMETA CEO JH Kim.
