ICONLOOP Signs Three-Way Agreement with the Jeju Tourism Association and the Jeju Institute for Industry-University Convergence to Support Safe Tourism Linked to COVID-19 Vaccination Records

December 22, 2021, Seoul — ICONLOOP (CEO JH Kim), a leading Korean blockchain company, announced that it has signed an agreement with the Jeju Tourism Association (Chairman Dongseok Boo) and the Jeju Institute for Industry-University Convergence (President Namho Lee) to support safe tourism linked to COVID-19 vaccination records.
At the three-way signing ceremony held on the 21st at the Jeju Business Center, ICONLOOP, the tourism association, and the institute agreed to cooperate actively in advancing safe tourism on the island using Zzeung, ICONLOOP's blockchain DID identity verification service.
Zzeung is an identity verification app that applies DID (Decentralized Identifier) technology to maximize personal data protection and user convenience. Like Jeju Safe Code, jointly developed by ICONLOOP and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, it provides entry authentication services including electronic entry logs and proof of vaccination. Through this agreement, ICONLOOP plans to develop and provide additional services to improve convenience for tourists and the operating environment for tourism businesses, working closely with the tourism association and the institute.

ICONLOOP's Zzeung DID identity verification service can be used by downloading the app from Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS).
