Lecture and technology support (ICON platform, SCORE, T-Bears)

The ICON Foundation is proud to announce that ICONLOOP(formerly theloop) is sponsoring ‘The 5th Korea SW Convergence Hackathon’ hosted by Korea Ministry of Science and ICT(MSIT) and Korea National IT Industry Promotion Agency(NIPA), which will be held from August 30th to September 1st at Chonbuk National University in Jeonju-si, South Korea. First launched in 2015, ‘SW Convergence Hackathon’ is one of the largest software development competitions in Korea. ICONLOOP provides blockchain technology support and lectures to the participants, according to the designated task of ‘Developing Blockchain-based Service for Innovation of Postal Service(Logistics and Finance)’.

On August 25th, ICONLOOP offered 4-hours of blockchain focused training to 302 people, composing 67 teams in total, and plans to provide technological support for the ICON platform, ‘SCORE’ smart contracts and the developer toolkit ‘T-Bears’. The ICON team hopes the event results in several new innovative solutions for the postal service industry.
